Appreciate

I appreciate the blessing sent Down From above.

I appreciate the family and friend that show the love.

I appreciate the life given to me from my parents.

I appreciate the one I love and our future marriage.

This is for those who need a uplift.

Remember to live your life because life is a gift.



Love those who love you and keep your hopes high. Set your goals in the near future and do all it take sto reach them. life is getting shorter not longer. make the best of what you have. Realize how fortunate you are to be above ground still. When you fall asleep and wake up make sure you thank our heavenly Father. Spread The Word

Ehh a couple things i wanna say
i cant believe your leaving but id hate to see you stay
just go away, far far away
closer to the antarctic where your heart can live and play
so cold,so cold your love got me shivering
i cant take these blows that your passion keeps delivering
its over, its over right over the nearest mountain
this love was just a youth, Florida fountain
run faster,run faster til your legs get weak
i guess you dont think before u open up to speak
your like a running faucet with a leak
little by little, i get to be annoyed

My First Love

My First Love can be considered my Latest
of them all in my phone book she has to be the Greatest
one of a kind never could be imitated
and if it came to it i wouldn't mind if we were related
although she was stuck up like she was constipated
if we would have stuck it out i promise we would have made it

but my ego started to go out of control
and i tried to get a grip and get a hold
but my personality was just too bold
that relationship was a month old
atleast that's what my mind told

its crazy how we aren't together but i love you more now

Definition Of Me

When you look at me what is it you see? some black guy with fake earrings and buck teeth?
if you can just peer into my eyes and see how much heartache and pain i've been through you'd understand why i'm me and you're you
i was brought up with the strength to carry this weight on my back
im all about my future, a negative vision is what i lack
i guess thats a good thing
and even when i smile these girls say im soo mean
well if thats how it seems, then ill clean up my act until its squeaky clean, and get right back to being me G-Ham, Hammy, Geraldoe or simply G
I go through life with my head held high to cover up how my heart feels
I had it stepped on by 1 too many pairs of high heels
I still await for my wounds to heal
God gave me this gift to write these lines with words that rhyme, why the fuck do i need a record deal
but still
the things i wont do are less then the things
i will Just to get by in this lifetime
i can run past the defense, across the first down until i hear you scream Touchdown
See i'm here to leave an impression on society
even if i see another Gerald stand right beside me
i guess i can get aside myself
but the 2 things i love is success and my health
fuck living in wealth
because wealth turns to greed and that nice ass car make grown men forget about their seed
indeed
God spoke to me and said "you're doing just fine being yourself"
i said an extra prayer for those that need his help
i see my angels sitting on a cloud watching my every move, making sure i can be the best i can be
..............that is the true Definition of Me

Donations!
 i recently found myself donating and  become active in the community.  if it wasn't an activity or a hands-on event i could participate in, then i was giving charities a few bucks. it makes me feel good that a little bit of help goes a looooong way!. 
- Turkey Trot. thanksgiving morning 2009 co-workers and I participated in a walk to feed the homeless on Thanksgiving Day.
-Lung Walk. ever since 2007 my sisters and i have participated in a 3mile walk to raise awareness and research for Asthma
-Bowl for Kids Sake. co-workers and I yet again bowled to raise money for the Big Brothers-Big Sister foundation.
-Clean Water Crisis. i donated and sponsored a foot on the Climb of Mt Kilimanjaro.. check out the FOOT I SPONSORED   
- Haiti. Damn near everybody did this one. $10 through my cell phone company.
-Cookies for Cancer. we bake and sell cookies outside our store (me and co-workers again)
and the one we put together....
-Striking Out Sickle Cell. my sisters, the american sickle cell association of american, and myself held a bowl-a-thon to raise money for awareness and research and development for Sickle Cell Anemia. it effects me and plenty other African Americans.
Please educate yourself and other by giving a helping hand....

LOVE?

The word 'LOVE' is over used and beginning to lose its value to relationships, marriage, and friendships. 'LOVE' is used only when there is no other word to describe how much you feel for a special someone. when 'LIKE' just isn't strong enough and no other word will have a strong enough impact on that person's heart. when 'LOVE' is said, there is no turning back. its harder to fall out of love then in love. 'In Love' is that feeling you have when the thought of that special someone can make you smile and do a little dance.. 'In Love' is that feeling you get when that person's is 2 feet away from you and still isn't close enough to make you feel comfortable. the word 'LOVE' gets tossed around to get and attract people's attention. but after its said, its hard to back it up. its harder to show love then to say it. its when you say it and can regret ever saying it. if you can retract your love then you were never really 'In Love'

Happy Anniversary

today is me and my girlfriend's 1 month Anniversary... so far so good... i wish us the best of luck. i don't really do relationships but she is super special to me. lets make this last babe.
